Legacy Overview

We’ll never end of life your software

At Explorer, we believe the decision to upgrade should be yours, so whether you’re using one of our legacy products or an older version of a current product, we’ll continue to support you. And, when you decide to upgrade, we’ll help you with that too, with special pricing for existing Explorer customers.

Many legacy customers have already made the leap from one of our legacy products to Eclipse, taking advantage of the Safe Passage system developed especially for legacy upgrades. For more information contact us.

Explorer Pivot, Axis and Trackpoint software products were acquired from CONAC software in 2004 and we’ve continued to support these construction software products ever since. Many of the former CONAC employees are still with Explorer today and continue to provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service to our users.
The Versyss VCMS system is a fully integrated Job Cost Accounting system designed specifically for the construction industry and was acquired from Versyss Systems Inc. in 2004. Two years later, the Verstar clients joined our Versyss family, coming to Explorer from Systems Solutions Limited. Today, we continue to support our Versyss and Verstar customers, providing the same knowledgeable and customer service that they’ve come to expect.
The Total Construction Management System (TCMS) was acquired from Ferrell Companies Inc. by Explorer Software Group in October 2005. In 2008, Explorer also acquired Ferrell’s document management solution, eZDocs. To ensure a seamless transition, key Ferrell personnel also joined Explorer.
The TrueLine Construction and Homebuilder Systems were acquired from TSC Solutions (formerly McCosker Corporation) by Explorer in March 2006. Today, key TrueLine staff members continue to support these products and are also actively involved in the development of Eclipse. This helps ensure that when TrueLine customers choose to upgrade, they have an upgrade path that takes into consideration some of the unique considerations that may come from being TrueLine users.
