Control and Analyze Your Projects in a Single Convenient Place

Explorer Enterprise Solution Project Management groups all of the inquiry and Reporting tools you could want to analyze the progress of your jobs in a single, convenient module.

In the Contract Status Inquiry you may view all or a subset of your jobs based on customer, project manager or any other combination of choices.

View Contract value, billings to date, cost to date, variance, forecasted costs to complete, percentage completion and projected profit. If things appear to be on track, there may be no need to look further.

If this top level overview gives any cause for concern, double-clicking on a specific job opens a job status inquiry window that reveals the next level of detail. You can view costs by cost class, cost code, contract item or master cost code. In this view, you see the original budget, any change orders that may have been issued, the projected budget, costs to date, forecasted costs to complete and the projected variance by cost code.

Additional drilldown shows each individual transaction that sums to each of the summary levels viewed previously as you drill down further and further into the project. At this most detailed level, you can easily see if an employee's time or a material invoice was charged to a project by mistake.

Change Orders

Control Estimate Revisions, Track Change Orders and Control Force Accounts and Extra Work

Use the Explorer Enterprise Solution Change Order module to control Estimate Revisions, track Change Orders and control Force Accounts and Extra Work. Create Change Orders that affect your prime contract and any number of subcontracts.

View all open and approved change orders for Jobs and Subcontracts in the Change Order module.

Once they are approved, change orders automatically increment the budget, contract, and subcontracts.

All Job Cost Reports reflect approved change orders. The Change Order Reports show which change orders are pending and which are approved, giving project managers the information they need to manage their projects. Adding Change Orders to your list of optional modules will give you unprecedented control and make administration of projects and subcontracts fast and easy.

Document Manager

Organize your company, client, and project related documents using Explorer Document Manager. This intuitive software requires no database management skills. With Explorer Document Manager you can store multiple document types like CAD files, spreadsheets, word or any other electronic document in a central server. Simply right mouse click on a record in Explorer Enterprise Solution for Construction, then attach or view associated documents. Store documents like invoices, contracts, drawings and photos by attaching them to any project, customer, employee or other records. With Explorer Document Manager, all your documents are safely stored in one secure and regularly backed up place, your server. Unlike the past, no time is wasted in finding all project related documents; you simply select the document you're looking for from a simple treeview of all documents, and launch the document on your work station.
