Explorer Software Group Hires New Director of Strategic Initiatives

Vancouver, BC - Explorer Software announced that Jerry Ferrell has been hired as Director, Strategic Initiatives. Jerry Ferrell will be working with Explorer's customers to gather customer needs and software enhancement suggestions for the Explorer development team.

Jim McFarlane, President and CEO Explorer Software, said, "We are extremely pleased to have Jerry Ferrell join our management team as Director of Strategic Initiatives. Jerry brings more than 35 years of construction and software experience to Explorer. We envision Jerry serving as a tremendous advocate for our customers."

Mr. Ferrell has an extensive background in construction; gaining his experience through ownership of several construction and construction software companies. His goals center around teamwork and success. He has accumulated numerous certifications specific to the construction industry and will utilize these to benefit the Explorer customers.

An example of Jerry's commitment to the customer is summed up well by Sevenson Environmental Services: "The addition of Jerry to the Explorer Group excites Sevenson because Jerry understands the construction business and specifically Sevenson's. I met Jerry 12 years ago and he made it his business to understand Sevenson's unique issues with regard to payroll and billing. When we were done, he and his team knew as much about our business as some of our seasoned vets.
